•Taco Nacho Chip, my chihuahua
How did my little chihuahua get his name? I am so glad you asked. We let Jesse name the dog on the day of the seizure and call it a mommy's intuition but I had felt for Jesse for 3 days prior to the seizure. (I will explain the intuition in another post.) Anyway, I asked my husband Carlton is Jesse could please name the dog because I had a burden for him for some reason. So Jesse said Chip. Of course, Carlton and Maddie threw there own ideas out there and Carlton said to Jesse, what about Taco? Jess liked it but later changed it to Nacho but the family was stubborn and said no we like Taco. So.... I named him Taco Nacho Chip! Works for me!
•My Poor Chihuahua hurt his eye!
My little 5 month+- old chihuahua named Taco Nacho Chip had a bad accident on the night of June 2 after Maddie's 6th Grade Graduation. We had to take him to the Emergency Vet in a nearby town at midnight. He stuck his head in a wire garden trellis and the metal hook got caught on his lower eye lid and he screamed and ran room to room, he was so scared. He went through 3-4 doorways banging his eye on each one. Carlton finally caught him in the kitchen and unhooked him. He had blood on his outer eye lid. The vet gave pain meds and antibiotics and a cone for him to wear. Cost $192.00. We got to bed at 3:30 am.

•Braces, help! orthodontist wants me to come in with my daughter today. That only means one thing, he wants more money!
In about 25 minutes I will be going with my adult daughter, 18 to her orthodontist. Mind you we have already paid this man many, dollars cash at the first appointment. Then, because her teeth shifted she had to have braces on again. Now, he is wanting to see me again. Has anyone else had this problem. We have given him well over $10,000. Help!
•Dolly.... is she a chihuahua or a Jack Russell? We bought her at a flea market near Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

•Add color to Facebook? How to.... Page Rage, add it to your profile
Yes, it can be done. I am a very creative person so I set out to find a way to add color to my facebook profile. It is called Page Rage and you can get it after you have your own Facebook page. All you do is search for Page Rage and it will come up and you just follow the instructions. I love it, I found a layout that I love. Only problem: Your friends have to have Page Rage too or they can't see your Page Rage. This is the only time I have ever invited my entire list of friends to try something new. Can't wait to see others layouts.
•What is Facebook? Why is Facebook so great? It looks so boring and dull compared to MySpace.
I have to agree that it does look dull and boring compared to Myspace. There are no fancy layouts, no color. No music (I am looking into that.) I was skeptical too so I did my homework and in a google search I asked what was so great about facebook. I have tried it at the recommendation of my cousin. It is just the basics, nothing fancy. Maybe that is why people love it so much, it is simple. I have been on about 1 month now and have 30+ friends so far. Probably my biggest accomplishments so far have been I reconnected with a friend from 8th Grade and also a few friends from high school. I have joined up with girlfriends that I was acquainted with here in my town and we all keep up with each others lives this way. For instance, a friend may post on their wall, something like this, "I hate Mondays, where's the coffee?", or they may say, "going to bed early, I'm tired." Some of us respond with encouragement if we can. It is a place to share things about yourself that you wouldn't just walk up to an acquaintance and say. For instance, I may post on my wall what I am thinking and it may be, "I am feeling blue today." It is posted on others profiles as well if they are friends with you. So far, I like it and I have figured out a way to put color on my profile. See next post.
•What is Blogher?
Unknown at this moment, I am researching it though. I have it in my dock to remind me to read up on it.
•What is blogging?
Well, I have asked that question myself. Blogging means different things to different people. I can only speak for myself when I say that blogging is like therapy for me. Most therapists will tell you (not that I have ever been to a therapist or maybe I have) that it is very beneficial to write down your feelings and thoughts. So there you go, that is what blogging means to me.
•Abortionist shot and killed? Dr. George Tiller, Wichita, Kansas
Wow! I am so pro life I would stake my own life on it. However, this is wrong. I really can see the point of view from the criminal. They are in such desperation that babies are being murdered that the only way they see to stop it is to take the life of the one doing the killing. This doctor had already been shot in both arms and at another time his clinic had been bombed. So I am trying to put myself in the mind of the abortionist. Was he thinking to himself, well, these people are really bothered that I am killing babies, maybe there is something to that. How can anyone love God and think that abortion is ok? Abortion and child abuse in general is what my heart grieves about more than anything. Short of violence, we all should be this passionate about abortion. Wake up people. Talk about your beliefs so that it may help others.
•Another day in paradise...
Yes, I do live in the best country on Earth. Yes, I do live in the best county in Florida. Yes, I do live live in the best town in the world. Yes, I do live on the best street in my town. However, things are not always perfect here in Mayberry, RFD. We have the usual lover's quarrel, the usual monetary problems, the usual offspring chaos. I suppose if we did not live in the best place on Earth our problems would be different. Our problems could be no freedom of speech, no freedom of religion, or perhaps facing the death of our child or ourself in a country that had zero healthcare, zero food, zero water. Thank you Jesus for the life you have given me.
•Last day of school for children
Wow, what happened to 6th grade and 1st grade? It went by so quickly. I am so proud of my kids. Jesse was a finalist in the spelling bee and came in 5 out of 12. He and his classmate both got out on the word June. The little girl got out first and then Jess. Mrs. Snowden said it was a trick word because the
